Every international student at Itchen receives English tuition and study support to help them achieve their goal of successfully gaining admission to a UK university. For students over the age of 19 The Access to Higher Education course is a one year full-time programme of study. It will give you experience of a wide range of subjects as they are taught in the UK and will help you to prepare for admission to University. At Itchen we have very strong links with Southampton University, Portsmouth University and Solent University and many Access students go on to these Universities. For students over the age of 16 Once you have achieved a good standard of English you will progress to study AS levels. We offer a choice of more than 40 subjects and you will receive a lot of help and guidance from our staff when you choose.
